Our institute possesses every modern equipment and technology that is necessary for successful fertility. Some of these:

In the laboratory there is a Leica invers microscope equipped with a Research Instruments Integra Ti micromanipulator. Apart from the pneumaticly operating syringes it is an absolutely mechanically operating apparatus which eliminates the errors and circumstanciality of difficult, electric, hydraulic and pneumatic system combinations which gives a maximum reliability and safety to the user.

The specially shaped, heated object-table with its large worktop gives big room for work. The large, heated glass inlay provides a continuous temperature for cells and easy manageability for the biologist during the micromanipulation procedures. In case of those couples for whom the effectiveness of traditional IVF is limited, we perform intracytoplasmatic spermium injection (ICSI) with the help of this microscope.

We placed in this room a large-sized Binder CB 50 three gas (CO2, N2, O2) incubator, in which the embryos can grow calmly until the transfer. The divided, inner gas-insulating glass door minimizes the changes in the preset environment conditions inside the chamber every time the door is opened. The continuous maintenance of the set parameters is provided by the circulated air-jacket system, the heated outer door and the extremely quick gas sensoring and providing system.

The maintainability of cleanliness is assured by cornerless inner design, while sterilization is assured by a 180°C self-sterilizing system.

Thanks to the permadry system, the vapour precipitates in one place, in a collecting pool designed for this purpose which can be removed easily.

The concentration of gases, the temperature and door opening is registered by a built-in software and is displayed on a mini LCD monitor.

The advantage of the system is that it assures a more stable environment than the traditional CO2 incubators so the majority of preembryos can be cultured till the 5–6th days the so-called blastocyst stage.

The RS Biotech MicroGalaxy CO2 mini incubator is placed here too, which creates ideal environment for procedures with gametes and embryos for temporary periods thus eliminating the frequent opening of the breeding incubator. The quick restoring of set parameters is controlled by an infrared CO2 sensory system. The maintainability of cleanliness is assured by rounded non-corrosive interior.

Cryo laboratory

The Sy-lab IceCube 14SA freezer machine is placed here, which is controlled by computer, uses high pressure fluid nitrogen to assure continuous cooling down of the biological samples to the temperature of deep-freezing preservation (even –180°C).

The highly precise freezing – with more steps even – can be done by the speed of 0,01–60°C/minute depending on the settings of the user. The surplus frozen embryos and sperms are placed into the MVE Chart 815P–150F–GB–BB–MDD LN2 steam-phase, digitally controlled, automatic nitrogen injected container with MDD adequacy.

The special inner structure provides at least -150 oC everywhere in the container even for several weeks should the coolant supplies happen to lag behind.

The inner uninterruptible power supply assures the continuous operation of the cryo lab in case of an electric power failure.

The automatic hot gas disjoining system eliminates warmer gases than fluid nitrogen to get into the appliance during refilling which minimizes nitrogen consumption and impedes the possible warming up of the sample-space.
