ONE DAY SURGERY
The up-to-date surgery, the developed anaesthesiology and the evolution of the medical sciences established a new form of care, the day patient care, halfway between outpatient and inpatient care. By means of “minimal invasive surgery” a completely new approach and methodology has been created, which can be widely used in almost all surgical specialties. This is the case both in general and in plastic surgery, urology and gynecology, both in terms of diagnostics and curative interventions. One-day surgery means that the patient, even after anesthesia can leave the hospital in 24 hours following the intervention - mostly after a couple of hours of observation - accompanied, on his own feet, and the whole period of recovery can happen at home. Careful organization of home care and continuous telephone contact with the clinic guarantee the security of this form of care. One-day surgery has strict professional, social and other statutory regulations that are discussed during the consultation, the necessary intervention is decided by a team of professionals.
